8Bitdo Bluetooth controllers updated to work with Nintendo Switch

8Bitdo, the company behind those cool retro-inspired Bluetooth game controllers, released a firmware update on Tuesday which adds Nintendo Switch support to a number of their game pads.

The controllers, which mimic those from the NES and Super Nintendo, can be updated to work with Nintendo's latest console. Though a lack of buttons will prohibit some of the company's controllers from being usable, both the NES30 Pro and FC30 Pro can be fully mapped to the Switch's controls.

It's probably no coincidence that the announcement comes just three days before the release of Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, which many Nintendo fans most likely played on a SNES controller
