Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon announced for 3DS

Nintendo on Tuesday announced Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon, coming to the Nintendo 3DS in late 2017.

Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will tell an alternate story in the Sun/Moon world of Alola. Nintendo is promising new Pokemon to collect, and the company showed off a number of new Mega transformations, including new forms for Lunala and Solgaleo.

Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will be released for the 3DS family of systems on November 17, 2017. Unfortunately, Nintendo didn’t use the Direct to unveil the heavily rumored Switch game, Pokemon Stars, but it’s possible Nintendo is saving the announcement for E3.
