On Thursday, Bandai Namco announced Project CARS 2, the follow-up to 2015’s excellent racing simulator.
The game was given a gorgeous new trailer, as well as a release date of September 22, 2017 (the same day Pokken Tournament DX is coming to the Switch). Project CARS 2 will be released on the same platforms as the original game– PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The original Project CARS was made for the surprisingly low sum of $5 million, all of which came from the game’s passionate community and the fundraising efforts of the developers. The game would go on to sell more than 2 million copies in its first two years.
